Why Are We Here?
Our primary goal is to provide emergency pre-hospital care to the sick and injured in our community and to transport them to the appropriate hospital.
Who Are We?
We are members of the community. We are your neighbors. We are parents, college students, executives, and business owners, but most of all, we are a family.
We volunteer our time to fulfill and satisfy an essential community service. We Need Your Help. Volunteerism is at an all time low!!! Have you ever considered becoming a volunteer? Our members are proud to be volunteering.
Time Requirements:
In order to meet the needs of our community, we require that you ride;
- One 12 hour night shift per week, between 6pm and 6am, or...
- One 6 hour day shift per week (between the hours of 6am and 6pm).

Requirements for Probationary Membership:
- Anyone can apply for membership provided they are found to be of good moral standing.
- You must either hold a currently valid New York State Department of Health Emergency Medical Technician Card or enroll in an Emergency Medical Technician course within six months of joining the company.
- All members must pass a physical examination, paid for by our company.
- The company will also offer you, at no cost, the Hepatitis B vaccination.
- And lastly, you must successfully meet the training and time requirements
Training Requirements:
- All new applicants will be trained in the operation and use of the ambulance, and all onboard equipment
- Before answering 9-1-1 calls, we will train you in CPR, Infectious Control, Scene Safety, and other various Emergency Services skills.
- You will enroll in and pass a New York State Emergency Medical Technician course.
- In-house training classes are offered periodically. Probationary members are expected to attend unless family or job obligations conflict.
